I started teaching longarm quilting in 2004, giving quilters the confidence they needed to turn their quilting visions into reality. I have quilted over 3,000 quilts since starting my longarm quilting business, Highered Hands, in 2000. My work has been published in Quilter’s Newsletter Magazine, Quilt Mania, The Quilter Magazine, Fabric Trends and other publications. I have taught at national quilt shows such as Machine Quilter’s Exposition (MQX), American Quilter’s Society (AQS), and Quilting with Machines.
My first book, Beyond the Lines, was published in 2009, and that same year I was first nominated for MQX Machine Quilting Teacher of the Year. Borders and Beyond was published in 2010.
I delight in sharing my experience with quilters of all skill levels.
